
Adapting literature to cinema is a risky exercise. So is adapting the life of writers but some long feature films tend to be a real success. The website Fandor gathered dozens of scenes in which actors turn into geniuses of writing: Daniel Day-Lewis in the role of Kafka, Philip Seymour Hoffman playing Truman Capote, Corey Stoll as Ernest Hemingway, DiCaprio as Arthur Rimbaud or Nicole Kidman interpreting Virginia Woolf.
