Jaume R. Lloret had fun comparing 50 movies and 50 remakes of these movies, through a video presented like a side by side shot : on one side, the original movie, on the other, the remake. The result allows you to see what remakes work better than their original version or are bad. Among these movies, we find Oldboy, Funny Games, Vanilla Sky, Psycho, The Ring, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, 12 Monkeys, Cape Fear, The Omen, Evil Dead, Conan the Barbarian, The Fly, True Grit, Solaris, Total Recall, Carrie and Planet of the Apes, on a video by Clint Mansell – “First Snow”.
