Thomas Blanchard directed the new music video of FAIK for their song “Saying Bye Was a Mistake”. Through abstract and poetic images, in black and white, playing on double exposure, the director tells the story of a man full of regrets, who recalls his relationship with a woman and the time that separated them. The waves symbolizes the emotions felt by the characters whereas the hot hair balloon represents all his memories. Filmed in Istanbul and in Cappadokia, the Turkish landscapes are mixed with backgrounds created from paint, milk and soap.
