For the promotion of his upcoming movie The Hateful Eight, Quentin Tarantino was invited by What the Flick!? to talk about various things. Among the themes of this 1 hour interview, Tarantino evoked Kill Bill Vol. 3 and the rumors saying there will be a sequel. In fact he declares that it’s always possible that he could one day come back on this franchise but there’s nothing planned for the moment. He prefers letting Beatrix Kiddo rest a little bit. “There definitely is a possibility. Stop short of seeing a probability. I put the character of Beatrix Kiddo through a lot, and so I wanted her to have this much time for peace. The whole idea [behind waiting so long between films] was everybody would be as old as they are”, he confessed to Ben Mankiewicz. It coincides with the remarks he said a few years later ; he’d love to see a revenge of Vernita Green’s daughter against The Bride for killing her mother.
