
For her project 1 000 000 Frames, Really Dim wanted to pay tribute to Swedish director Roy Andersson and especially his films’ cycle titled Trilogy About Being A Human Being and made of the following works: Songs from the Second Floor, You, the Living and Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence. He’s known for his fixed stills and his sequence shots filmed in studio like living canvas. Through her supercut, Candice Drouet focuses on the cold atmosphere, sometimes gloomy, of his movies filled by black humour.
