For an exhibition dedicated to Jean-Michel Basquiat at the Barbican in London from 22nd September 2017 to 28th January 2018, Banksy imagined a collaboration with the artist by revealing 2 new artworks. The first one represents an isolated figures from the Basquiat’s Boy and Dog in a Johnnypump painted in 1982, welcomed by two police officers. The second one is a queue of customers waiting for a ride aboard a ferris wheel which the baskets are represented by the iconic Basquiat’s crow.
