It’s finally out ! The first album of the Belgian enfant prodige Angèle, BROL, has been released today. For the occasion, the singer unveils a new featuring with the Belgian rapper Roméo Elvis. With her typical crazy, funny but also cynical universe and spicy punchlines, Angèle affirms once more her style thanks to the single “Tout Oublier” (that sounds pretty much like “let’s forget everything”). The singer plays with the pop culture’s code in a brilliant way always with a sense of secondment and self-irony.
Talking abour her first opus, BROL, she declares : « I simply wanted to call my album with a Belgian word, a word that always made me laught. “Brol” means the desorder, the optimistic and soft chaos of daily life situations, it’s not something negative. This word reminds me my childhood, my country, which I am more and more far from. I find it kind of reassuring. »
The francophone music scene already knows who will lead the charts this winter.
