Belgian pop star Angèle continues to explore a engaged and pop universe with her last clip directed by her friend Charlotte Abramow. Balance ton quoi (literally “denounce your what”, where ‘what’ is replacing the word ‘pig’ meaning the ‘assaillant’, as a reference to the French #metoo movement called “denounce your pig”) is a single from Angèle’s debut album “Brol”. This title is inspired by the third feminist wave beginning, reminding the major social networks scandals that enhanced this movement, such as #metoo. The clip explores the notion of “consent”, by imagining a world in which men could take lessons about how to be anti-sexist. A funny, impertinent and strong video bringing a very urgent message with the positive and optimist touch of Charlotte Abramow.
