In her series Lizzie Beach, Sally West, an Australian artist, is depicting the beauty and joys of days at the beach. The way she’s using her impasto technique, is gracefully suggesting the lines of the characters and subjects she paints. Thus, the viewer is projected in these waves made of paint layers. The work West does on movement, gives the impression that the surfers are actually paddling on their boards, and offers an impression to feel the swarming of the people on the sand. A nice way to share the artist environment, and to travel, thanks to her,  from home.
