« I began doing little signature tags on forums in 2007, shortly after I discovered Photoshop », says Aaron Campbell. The Canadian self taught artist started illustrating his own characters and environments more than ten years ago while joining several art collectives. « I learned a lot about Photoshop during this time and I then went to university to study illustration and design. This allowed me to sharpen my skills while developing techniques that I still use oday ».

« My biggest inspiration has always been video games. I grew up in the N64 era and played a lot of games from the Super Mario series, Banjo-Kazooie or Pokemon. As I grew up, I drew inspiration from more modern games such as Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2 and Fallout. Video games have always inspired me to create my own worlds and inject as much detailed as I can into the environments. The subtle environmental storytelling has always been one of my favorite thing ».
