The most basic instrument in the hands of a talented artist can lead to an amazing result. The paper artist from Yorkshire Pippa Dyrlaga only need a blade handle with fine point blades. Thanks to that simple tool, she creates stunning refined origamis representing animals, natural elements and abstract shapes from her imagination.

Dyrlaga started to practice paper art in 2010, after her Art & Design cursus at the Leeds Metropolitan University. Her main sources of inspiration are elements from her daily life and some from her fantasy. While her artworks are incredibly minutious, a large part of her work is based on pure improvisation.
