Russian creative Misha Petrick wanted to dive us into the digital 90s nostalgia with a series entitled Instagram for Win95 that re- imagines the social network use through an outdated operating system: Windows 95. In response to Instagram users’ critics on their last modifications of algorithms, their privacy and censorship policies, Misha Petrick has made some pixelated GIFs which animate the application and make us aware that the current version is not so terrible.
