Fabian Perez is a painter born in 1967 in Buenos Aires, who considers art as a way to “perpetuate beauty”. Inspired by Lautrec, Picasso, Sargent and Cézanne, his paintings depict a romantic world, where men and women have defined and powerful roles, in a seduction relation and a moment of encounter. Either it’s in a train, in a car or at the bar, the woman is always desired by a well-dressed and classy man. This passion for seduced women, sit at a bar, smoking on one hand and drinking on the other, comes from his childhood : his father was the owner of many illegal nightclubs and bordellos.
