The power of nature and of the sea is an infinite source of inspiration for a good number of artists. The shapes that take form are both fractal and illogical, offering a fascinating whole to our eyes. The American illustrator Andrew Bannecker, who has worked for The New York Times amongst others, uses these contours to set up an oneiric and colorful universe that seems to belong to a children’s book in which waves and the other elements get a pleasant and original dimension.
