Duo Christo et Jeanne-Claude, masters in the Land art, did a sublime installation in 1983 : Surrounded Islands. During two weeks, we can see on the Biscayne Bay, in Miami, some pink islands. Eleven islands, made of trees, were surrounded by a belt of pink fuchsia plastic.
