Luca Costea and Eduard Cîrstea are two Romanian advertisers who started a common personal project. Both fans of cinema, they decided to revisit their favorite movie titles by exploring the technique of the “negative space” : through the holes and the spaces let by the letters, they’ve shaped a drawing to give meaning and refer to the themes of each movie. For instance, the W of Black Swan, we can see two feet of a ballet dancer ; in Whiplash, we can distinguish drum sticks ; and in Up, we can see a balloon in reference to the flying house of the main character. This series will appeal the ones who love reading between the lines.
