For this year’s edition, the Beijing Design Week revealed Vulcan : the world’s biggest pavilion built thanks to a 3D printer. Laboratory for Creative Design (LCD) is the author of this technological jewels, located at the center of Parkview Green. This structure features 1086 pieces of 8 meters long each, printed individually and assembled together to form a whole. It can be subdivided in 3 modules and identical parts. It took 30 days to design this artwork with the printer and 12 days to assemble the pieces.
