Fernando Volken Togni is an Brazilian illustrator who started working as a graphic designer in advertising agencies in Brazil. His creations are characterized by the using of geometry and strong colors. He worked for several brands like : Google, Orange, Sushi Shop, ESPN, Mark & Spencer and recently for the whisky brand Ballantine’s, for whose he made a limited edition of the Ballantine’s Brasil bottle, that you could see in this article.

Concerning his future projects, He is planning an exhibition in London for the next year. Currently he is working on characters development and he has a luggage collection with the brand Heys from Canada.

For the limited edition of the Ballantine’s Brasil bottle, the artist was inspired by the Brazil’s colors and refers to Scotland, birth land of Ballantine’s whisky. We can also see the presence of parrots and flowers from Brazil, patterns that are on Scottish kilts and the thistle, symbol of Scotland. He associates the blue color of the Scottish flag and the blue Brazilian sky to the green color of the lime. Lime zests were infused in whisky to offer an exotique taste to make sunny cocktails.

This bottle is made in 10 exemplars and is sold exclusively on the BarPremium website from the 16th September 2015.
