After his portraits made of screws, Californian artist Andrew Myers comes back with a similar artwork called My Dealer is Not a Square. He wanted to represent Lawrence Cantor’s portrait, his personal art dealer, with 1200 hand-painted cubes with acrylic. In order to make the pixelated face appear, these cubes were assembled with 800 yards of stainless steel rods and hung to wood rods like chandeliers.

Myers and his team took 7 months to complete this sculpture. It will be exhibited at the Lawrence Cantor Fine Art Gallery (Los Angeles) from the 17th September.
