Through his compositions depicting Cuba, his country of origin, artist Alan Manuel Gonzalez wants to create a visual metaphor to express his love for his country and hate for its problems. His paintings portray tropical jungles, waves and palm trees but also cuban landmarks or religious edifices contained inside glass jars, water drops and bottles.
