Based in London, designer Michael Pecirno is the author of the ongoing project “Minimal Maps”. He wanted to represent datas with a new imagery from the map of The United States and highlighting visually the water spots, corn fields, urbanism or forests. Prints of his maps are available on his shop.
Data is accurate for the year 2014 and has been collected from the USDA’s CropScape Program.
