Based in San Francisco, artist Alexis Arnold has imagined the project “Crystallized Books” in order to give a new life to abandoned books in dusty boxes. She has combined borax crystals with weathered magazines and books to freeze them ; their organic shapes give the impression of some kinds of eroded fossils by time and the nostalgia of physical book against digital.
