Duffy design studio from London, already known for Swing Table, presented the Up Coffee Table. Working with the illusion of levitation, this object is a playful trompe-l’oeil, giving the impression that a piece of glass is being suspended by small balloons. This table is a limited edition of twenty, hand made in the UK for a price of £5,800.00.
I don’t like it all that much.
It looks a bit like life has been sucked out of it even in promo photos and I can’t imagine what it would look like after a few months of real life.
