iSqueek, designed by two brothers David and Daniel Alexander in 2009 as a means of learning the Objective-C programming language for the iPhone. « My dog had recently died and I kept one of his squeak toys on my desk, » said David Alexander, « I would squeak it to remind me of him and wanted to have that toy in my pocket. » The developers share the real-life 18 squeak toys that were used in designing the app. All of these toys belonged to Hemmy, the developer’s dog.
