Still Life in Motion projects are robotically enabled stop motion animation. This is my first piece using this process. My goal was to start shooting motion were each frame has the same quality as my sitll work. DragonFrame software control stepper motors for all movements and allow precise repeatable results. The Alfi Coffee pot was selected for its sparse geometric look, bright color and it’s relatively easy to rig. The shots in the piece increase in complexity from beginning to end.
