Polyphonic is a minimalist house located in Hokkaido, Japan, designed by Jun Igarashi Architects. The architects understood that the wind and air changes dramatically in the local area between summer and winter. As a result, the aim of the composition was to take control of the air volume through a traditional Japanese principle called “Kotasu.”
