As part of the exhibition Opgeraapt Opgevist Uitgehakt, a collection of fossil (mammoth)bones, at the Natural History Museum Rotterdam the funtrack owned by Ice Skating Rotterdam is transformed into Natural Historic Ice. Below the ice lays a life-size image of the 22.500 year old Yukagir mammoth, exactly as the extinct animal was found in 2002! With this outdoor exhibition, the museum expands it’s reach outside the walls of it’s museum and reaches visitors on a disovery in the city.
