Born in France in 1938, Jean Studied Engineering, Physics, Architecture, Art and Mosaics at Santa Maria Magiore in Rome for six and a half years.
After forty years of honing his art, Jean has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience, as well as a mythical appreciation of the materials he uses in his mosaics.
He works mainly with stone, particularly Marble and Granite as well as Glass, Dalle de Verve and Metals, including Titanium.

Apart from his own creations, Jean has worked for UNESCO restoring ancient mosaics in Greece, Italy, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Spain and France.
He has also worked creating his Mosaics for companies including Mosaics Venecianos de Mexico, Bisazza in Italy, Friul Mosaic and Carattere Musivo of Italy.
He has also been privately commissioned to produce mosaics throughout the world including North America, Mexico, Italy, Japan, Spain and Australia

Arriving in Australia in 1970, Jean has spent much of his time establishing the art of Mosaic in this country, creating, teaching and displaying his own art work there, and the last ten years in Europe.
Jean is the only doctor in the art of Mosaics left in the world.
