This 3D printed kinetic sphere by Proxy Design Studio is a single gear circuit. When you spin one gear the entire ball is activated with motion. The team of designers was inspired by nature to create this insanely complex ‘million polygon face object’ called ’Mechaneu V1.’ These kinetic sculptures aim to compare the benefits of the 3D printing process with the benefits of the way in which nature constructs forms.
