FM House is a minimalist house located in Kariya City, Japan, designed by WORKCUBE. The home has a total of 225 sqm, and is constructed mainly of concrete and wood. The residence has a unique sliding door feature that enables the user to expose more than half of the living room to the outside. The indoor exposed concrete is kept in tact, and juxtaposes nicely against the traditional tatami mats. The upstairs contains a small kitchen area.
