‘Before the Trees’ is a black and white animation realized by Sabina Dallu, a young filmmaker from Romania, currently a researcher at Fabrica, Benetton’s communication research center in Italy.
The video depicts the state of alienation, a reaction to the increasingly demanding pressures of modern life that cause us to disconnect from ourselves. By contemplating his relation to the outside world, the character rediscovers himself and takes pleasure in the beauty of simple things.
