NYbillboard

L’architecte Chris Precht a proposé une nouvelle structure urbaine appelée NY Billboard pour Manhattan à New York. Avec tout un réseau de passerelles et d’installations diverses, ce projet cherche à repenser la question de la densité de population dans New York.

Hey mais c’est super moche non? j’ose pas imaginer une ville ou ne serait-ce qu’un building de ce genre, ça me rappel la ville d’acier qui baignait dans un lac d’acide dans je ne sais plus quel film trippant…

Bah c’est clair que c’est pas vraiment trippant visuellement, mais le fait d’offrir aux utilisateurs une vue de rêve sur la “skyline” de Manhattan tous les matins en se levant, c’est déjà un gros plus niveau confort…

Understanding where these architects stand with their aesthetic squirts and what they bring to the table as a functional contribution to society and our evolution is extremely hard for me. I see architects with great respect but this and other upcoming, are so reliant on technologically driven shapes that they loose sense of what really matters? Never letting the tools take over. but instead using them as a complementary tool.
Everything has become a gigantic sculpture, but how can we not saturate from this, and can WE really gain anything? So selfish to create these fucking nonsense fantasy world like pieces of ass.
Architecture is one of the not so many professions where you should really feel good as someone who has work of value to humanity. Is this of value to us?

Is this the now architecture? Is this it? Is Zaha it? Architects can’t seem to find new ways of creating the next new thing? Parametricism what? Gigantic twisted steel metals?

Le concept est génial et aurait pu être bien mieux exploité..
Ca n’a aucun sens, c’est n’est pas esthétique, ce n’est pas de l’abstrait, ça n’exprime rien, c’est stéril…

Vraiment raté pour moi.

Surchargé, stérile, écrasant et aux allures de prisons.
Tant qu’a penser au futur et au gain d’espace, peut être faut il réfléchir à ce qui rend les gens heureux de rentrer chez eux.

Ca sent le bâtiment qui va prendre un coup de vieux rapidement et qui n’aura jamais ses trois petits arbres dessus comme l’indiquent les visuels…
