The creative need behind our calendar was to find a way of offering our partners a glimpse in the mentality of a designer’s world. For busybuilding, design should « invade » communication and views on aesthetics. We designed 12 different characters, one for each month of the year, which we named « design invaders ».
The recipient of the calendar is invited to freely place the “invader” of their choice/ month on the cover and keep in the body important/ unimportant documents per month, depending on their design mood. The production of the 116 numbered copies was materialised in-house and largely manually and the calendars were offered as a gift to 116 selected partners, clients and …other design invaders.
