L’entreprise chinoise Ehang a présenté au Consumer Electronics Show 2016 de Las Vegas un prototype de drone capable de transporter un passager dans les airs. Mesurant 1,5 m de haut pour 3,9 m de long et de large, ce drone du futur pourrait atteindre une altitude de 500 mètres et circuler à 100 km/h pendant 23 minutes à condition d’être rechargé en batterie. L’utilisateur aurait seulement à s’asseoir confortablement et se laisser transporter jusqu’à destination.
Encore à l’état de prototype, ce drone géant pourrait bien devenir un moyen de locomotion quotidien s’il s’avérait totalement opérationnel.
