Des collégiens du Connecticut, aux Etats-Unis, ont mené à bien un projet en collaboration avec un aquarium et une entreprise d’impression 3D pour aider un manchot du Cap à remarcher après 5 ans de handicap. Ce manchot âgé de 23 ans portant le nom de Purps a donc pu profiter d’une chaussure orthopédique imprimée par une machine afin d’avoir à nouveau le contrôle de ses deux jambes.
