A few years ago I had the idea for packaging, that also served as a sales-display for watches. This is how the tapered shape came about. The thin waist is roughly the diametre of a wrist, so a watch can be fastened around it. The two cutouts at each end allow several packages to be slotted together to form display-sculptures. Corrugated cardboard is an environment friendly material. It‘s «industrial charm» contrasts well with the sophisticated product inside.
A fragment of my logo is printed on either end of the packaging. When the elements are assembled in a certain way, the fragmented parts add up to a complete symbol. stevengoetz.com
