‘The Wishing Fountain’ by Raafat Majzoub allows people of Beirut to share money with each other. It borrows its form from women beggars sitting on sidewalks, hence raises awareness about the escalating street beggars phenomenon and the increasing privatization and self-centeredness in urban Lebanon today.
