Markus Wagner and Markus Wipplinger were invited by Erwin Bauer to work at the Schaulabor during the Vienna Design Week. So it was quite clear that LWZ answered the call. The aim was to create something out of paper and show the process to visitors who were welcome to have a peek over the artists shoulders. Under the wings of Markus & Markus we created the story of a creative mind seeking for an idea faced with a blank canvas.
We wanted to explain finding a design concept through an animation … turns out transforming a guy into a pencil is more fun than creating a concept! THX to Erwin Bauer for the invitation, Adrian and Cornelia for swiss wine and good times, and GABS for the sound design.
