83% of the lights in Syria have gone out since 2011, with civilians literally plunged into darkness. Using this statistic as a way to raise awareness about the conflict, UNIT9 directors Greg & Jacob partnered up with Don’t Panic London to create a short film.
“Afraid of the Dark” is a part of an international campaign launched by the WithSyria coalition and it tells the story of two Syrian children who are afraid of the dark but have no way to escape it.
