The vivid paintings of Giacomo Spazio (born in Milan, 1957) are a freaky melting pot of pop culture, political art, poetry and punk counter culture. The hybrid mixture of cultural codes in his imagery mostly originates from photographs he has collected from books, comic strips, newspapers, street walls and LP covers.
