The issue is dedicated to the hugely successful photographer Rankin. The 9 series in the issue were shot by Rankin using the new Leica S-System with different top stylist leading the art direction in each. He explained the unusual idea: »These guys are at the top of their game, really talented. It’s very unusual for a hair stylist to get the opportunity to express themselves that directly, with that much freedom.«
