The industrial and product designer Catherine Stolarski likes to use technical materials in everyday furniture.
Her new project entitled « Loop » is a lamp shade designed to utilize the unique properties of the 3D mesh. Its softly curved shape is made from one single folded piece of material floating in the air. The nylon threads inside of the mesh spreads the light for a gentle atmosphere.
This ceiling light brings softness with a remarquable balance between rigor and simplicity.
