The first book by photographer Daan Brand is out. The beautiful concept of the book , based on a moleskin diary, was done by Jamie Mitchell.
It’s called ‘Johnson and the corner kid’.
Johnson may seem a familiar character to many people. He’s the metaphor forthe loner, the guy on the side of the dancefloor at highschoolpartys, the wallflower.This loner has now grown up, this loner is Johnson.In Daan’s photography the loner is being represented through a giant headmade out of paper-maché. This series follows Johnson during unimportant momentsin his life.
