Directing team IAMSTATIC teamed up with animation and design studio TOPIX to create the opening titles for this year’s FITC Toronto conference. These visually striking titles are entirely CG and are about Story. The concept is a singular monomythic narrative based on the 7 classic plot archetypes used in traditional literature. Dark and moody, the film follows our hero’s journey as she is confronted with choice and challenges, and ultimately overcomes great obstacles against the odds.
