Fish Boy is a teenager facing the challenges of growing up. The film, with deep symbolic perspective, universal story, local surroundings (Ziegenort is simply a german name for Trzebież – a small village neraby Szczecin where the director comes from) and raw, strong design, has already won awards at several festivals: Oberhausen, Krakow, Trebon, New York and Hamburg. Recently was shown in official selection at festivals in Annecy and Melbourne. This summer it will also go to Korea and Japan.
