Peter Fuss a eu l’idée de placer dans la gare de Gdansk en Pologne ces affiches. Avec un message de paix, ces affiches sont là pour rappeler de ne pas penser qu’avec des stéréotypes, et qu’il faut prendre du recul sur ce que l’on peut entendre. Une action efficace à découvrir dans la suite.
Heureusement qu’il y a encore des gens qui pensent au cas par cas! De toute facon l’histoire temoigne de ce qui s’est passé a chaque fois qu’on a pensé en stereotypes : les types africains, juif ou arabo-terroriste actuellement!!!

But I don’t understand one thing. Why the lower text is writtern in English not in Polish? The billboards are placed in Poland, so if they are intended to affect people that see them, the text definitely should bo in Polish.
If the text was written in Polish, you could not read it, neither do we. English is a universal language, as love and peace.
Ypu’re wrong about me, bocause I lve in Krakow, Poland. I agree – of course nowadays English is a universal language understood worldwide.
Most of young Poles understand and use English very well, But among people of age above 40-50 unerstanding of English is not so obvious.
Imagine – you’re in your country and you see billboards you can’t understand.
It would be more acceptable fi the target of the campaign were only young people. But I believe that this one should be addressed to everybody.
So – why not to use both languages? Wouldn’t it show more respect to the viewers?

I have to agree with stanki, these times countries (in europe at least) are getting more and more nationalists, natural reflex in crises times. I don’t know if imposing two foreign languages will actually get the message to those who need it the most.
