The Bangura Bag from Masanga, Sierra Leone is made from recycled bicycle tubes. It is a part of long term econical sustainable strategy for the Masanga Hospital located in Sierra Leone and the organisation Associated Friends of Masanga.

The hospital was founded in 2006 by the dansih doctor Peter Bo Steendahl and have functioned as a hospital based on funding and donations from companies, organisations and private donors. To secure an economical independent platform for the hospital different small enterprizes around the hospital has been initiated to produce goods to sell in Western countries and thereby generate the needed funding for the hospital.

The Danish company Kadaver located in Copenhagen has, in corporation with Associated Friends of Masanga, developed the chain of command for the bag to be imported, distributed and sold in Europe and North America.
