Rona Guerrila Marketing

Excellent idea of advertising for the brand “Rona” in Montreal. Nice utilisation of the Apple campaign and Billboard.

For those who don’t read French…

The citation on the Rona banner reads: “We recover/recycle your leftover paint”

So the guerrilla marketing campaign is aimed at letting people know they can take their unused paint to Rona and they will recycle/remix it.

So they caught the ‘drips’ from the iPod billboard to illustrate this…

    I like it.

very nice but they should have measured the ipod ad more precicely…. the banner is way too big

As overlarge as the second ad is is very possible they had other signs of several sizes to contend with so for the sake cost they just made one size. That or considerations for trespassing or dangerous locations needing to eye-ball the size (if the company who owns the signs did not provide ad specs) Its pretty close and you get the ‘ah ha!’ idea which sells better than the ad above it.
