WALL·E is a PC, EVE is a Mac

The two robots in Pixar’s WALL·E represent two kinds of personal computers : the PC and the Apple Macintosh. Nice example with this picture like the last spots “Mac vs Pc”.

Une création amusante autour des 2 protagonistes principaux du film de Pixar : Wall-e.

True, but Eve was designed by Jon Ive, the man behind all the brilliant designs behind all the Macintosh computers for the past decade. So Eve is definitely a Mac!

Actually Wall-E represents the earlier Apple Macintoshes, whereas EVE is a much newer, sleek mac. If you watch the whole movie, looking out for it, it’s full of references to the evolution of the mac.

Apple paid for that character. This is the next frontier of product placement. I don’t know if Wall-E is a pc or old MAC, but Eve was bought paid for and designed by Apple. It’s a way to get consumers to associate white clean lines with the future. It’s not coincidence.

Nice idea but clearly they are both macs, just different generations. As for it being a paid ad, obviously, but no money is even needed since Pixar was headed by Steve Jobs who is now the largest single shareholder of Disney too. I guess people missed that news.

Nice! I think that, both are Macs! Walle is older than Eve! Best story!

I think Eve is ‘dead sexy!’ . Definently a Mac!

Eve is definitely a Mac, and Wall-E is certainly a mac too, with the start up sound and all. When I first saw the movies in theaters I worked for Apple and I went with a group of other apple employees. We nerdgasm’d all over the place when wall-e rebooted and made the mac startup sound.
