La plupart des super-héros des films DC Comics et Marvel sont des hommes. Le New York Magazine a imaginé un nouveau film, nommé Spider-Gwen, prenant pour héroïne la petite amie de Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) dans The Amazing Spider-Man : Gwen Stacy, incarnée par Emma Stone.
